"The Sound of Waves" is a photobook by Tatsuo Suzuki. In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic and the sudden loss of a close friend, Suzuki turned his lens to water. Relentlessly photographing rivers, the sea, and every form of water around him, he came to discover “life,” and his images grew increasingly raw and intense.
The Japanese title, "濤声 (Tōsei)," literally means “the roar of surging waves.” Grief and praise for life, colliding with the punk rock spirit at the core of Suzuki’s practice, surge through the work like a great swell. Published as BUNDLE No.1, the book stands as a new personal document by Tatsuo Suzuki.
